Hamburg - The Tokyo Olympic flame has only just been extinguished, and already the entry lists for the Longines Global Champions Tour of Hamburg have been drawn up. From August 26 to 29, 2021, the world's show jumping elite will meet in Hamburg-Klein Flottbek - among them the just freshly decorated individual gold medalist of the show jumpers, Ben Maher. With his fabulous Explosion W, the Brit impressed early on in the Longines Global Champions Tour and also in the GCL team competition, winning the overall classification in 2018 and 2019.

And even more show jumping stars are making their way to the Hanseatic city directly from Tokyo, such as Edwina Tops-Alexander (AUS), who is currently ranked second overall in the Longines Global Champions Tour. She had to give up pole position to the winner of the stage in Berlin, Sergio Alvarez Moya (ESP) and could turn the tables again in Hamburg. Also entered for Klein Flottbek are veteran rider Roger Yves Bost (FRA), Austrian champion rider Max Kühner, team silver medalist Laura Kraut (USA) and Italian show jumping star Alberto Zorzi.

But the German line-up for Hamburg is also impressive, because with Christian Ahlmann, Ludger Beerbaum, Hans-Dieter Dreher, Ludger Beerbaum, Christian Kukuk, Tobias Meyer, Maurice Tebbel as well as Philipp and Maximilian Weishaupt, Olympic, World and European Champions, World Cup winners and medal winners at German Championships have entered for Hamburg.

A starter field thus, which leaves nothing to be desired, just as little as the exquisite exhibition, which invites to safe and extravagant shopping and feasting on the tournament days - extensive and corona-conform.

Tickets for the international five-star show jumping tournament in Hamburg-Klein Flottbek can be reserved directly through the organizing agency EN GARDE Marketing at www.engarde.de/events/lgct-hamburg.
Part of the hygiene concept, by the way, is that visitors (from 6 years of age) must comply with the GGG rule, i.e. show whether they have tested negative, recovered or have been vaccinated. A corresponding proof (paper or digital) has to be shown at the entrance.
