The best of their years

Every year in late summer, the top young horses and ponies from German breeding are selected in the disciplines of dressage, show jumping and eventing at the HKM Bundeschampionaten in Warendorf. 

 

From three to seven year old, selected young horses meet in the Mecca of equestrian sport, namely on the grounds of the German Equestrian Federation and the German Olympic Committee for Equestrian Sports. Only those who have qualified or been nominated may compete here. Thus, from all German breeding areas, only the best of the respective years are sent and look for their champion - their Bundeschampion, to be exact. A horse retains this title for the rest of its life.

 

The extensive grounds in Warendorf provide a unique show experience on five competition grounds. In addition to top-class young horse competitions, the exhibition with its extensive shopping and gastronomic offer leaves nothing to be desired.
