HKM Bundeschampionate - New title sponsor for top class meetings
After three years without a "first name", the traditional yet modern Bundeschampionate can look forward to a new title sponsor. From 2022, the top meeting for German young horses will be called the "HKM Bundeschampionate". In addition to the title sponsorship, the final of the seven-year-old show jumpers will be celebrated as the "Prize of HKM", as well as the final of the four-year-old pony stallions as the "Small Prize of HKM".
"HKM has been committed to popular sport and in the area of school horses for many, many years," explains the President of the German Equestrian Federation e.V. Hans-Joachim Erbel. " In this context, we have come to know and appreciate HKM as an outstanding supporter and reliable premium partner of the FN. We are therefore particularly pleased that HKM could be won as title sponsor for the Bundeschampionate. The Bundeschampionate are the showcase of German horse breeding and also of our training system. They are our flagship. Therefore, it is of enormous importance for us to see the Bundeschampionate standing on secure legs in these uncertain times."

The equestrian sports specialist looks back on a long company history: Founded in 1967 as a textile production company, HKM has focused on the actual passion of the founding Egbers family - equestrian sports - for almost 40 years. After Klaus Egbers successfully guided the fortunes of the HKM group of companies for 32 years and retired from management at the end of 2021, new strategic approaches and ideas have moved in with the new management. Jonas Niemeyer, who has been CEO since April 2021 and is responsible for product development, marketing and sales, among other things, is working intensively with the team at the company headquarters in Neuenhaus to make even more customers happy through a targeted expansion of the HKM product portfolio and to sustainably position the company as a whole.
